Over the weekend at Comic Warehouse, our Warhammer group played a part of the Shield of Baal campaign. I don’t have a lot of campaigns to go through so I like being creative and using Warhammer stories I have read or an extension of a boxed set so it can last longer so our group can play.
The first part of the campaign for 250 points per team, was called The Fate of Phodia. After the city was run by Tyranids, they had to go in and find survivors while trying to survive any swarms that attacked them.
The Dark Angels and the Necrons set aside their differences to help fight against the these bio-horrors. When they got to the city, it was practically destroyed. Finding survivors seemed almost impossible but they both made it back alive with few causalities and seven survivors. The City of Phodia was lost.
Next month, the campaign is going to continue as a summer special that will run until the beginning of September all the while, also running the Age of Sigmar campaign. It’s going to be a summer of fun and battles.
If you live in the Brampton area in Ontario, I suggest you make your way to The Comic Warehouse on a Sunday when we’re playing Warhammer and you will be quite entertained by our exploits.
